About storytik

Every other TikTok downloader treats stories as an afterthought. We built storytik around them. A regular video sits on TikTok until the creator takes it down; a story is gone in twenty-four hours, whether anyone saved it or not. That gap between "posted" and "gone forever" is where storytik lives.

The team is a small group who kept losing stories they cared about and got tired of hearing "you should have saved it." So we built the tool we wanted: paste a link to a public story, and the file is on your device before the clock runs out.

Stories usually surface in a feed, and by the time you go looking for a share button half their lifespan is already spent. That is why the flow stays short: tap «Share» on the story, copy the link, paste it at storytik.to. Both link formats TikTok produces — /story/ and /video/ — point to the same file, and storytik accepts either.

storytik pulls public TikTok stories only. If a creator has set their account to private, blocked you, or restricted their stories to friends, storytik cannot reach that content — those are access controls we are not trying to break. What you can open in an incognito browser tab, storytik can save. What you cannot, it will not.

The tool is built for legitimate archival: creators keeping copies of their own stories, marketers watching a public competitor over time, fans preserving favorite moments before they disappear. None of that requires login credentials, and none of it notifies the creator. Treat downloaded stories with respect: do not re-upload them for revenue, do not strip attribution, and give credit if you share a clip anywhere public.
